Center Hill

Today we went to Center Hill in Weld for a hike. There was quite a line of cars driving up the long winding hill to the parking area. Miss Kelly gave us some instructions to be careful and we were off! The first thing we looked at was the giant Octopus Tree. We climbed over and under it while our parents and caregivers took our pictures! Miss Kelly told us to keep our eyes open for numbers on the trail. We only found numbers 2, 4, and 8 because we were too busy climbing to look for numbers! Our first stop was at the rock out crop that had lots of places to climb. We spent a lot of time up there climbing the rocks and beingg silly. A Nana showed us squirrel tables and we picked through their left over acorn shells. We finished our hike and had a quick snack of pretzels and juice before heading home. We had a really great time.

Delia asked us what our favorite part was:

"I liked finding the numbers."
"I liked the squirrel tables."
