Easter Party 2010

We celebrated Easter a little late this year. We waited until school vacation so that the school aged boys could join us in the fun. A few weeks before the party Delia sat some of us down for a little talk:

Delia: "Who got candy for Eater?"
Us: "MEEEE!"
Delia: "Do you think you have a lot of candy?"
Us: "Yesss!"
Delia: "All right, since you all have candy at home for our party we aren't going to have candy in our eggs."
Us: "Can we have goodie bags?"
Delia: "Yes. What would you like in your goodie bags that is not candy?"
Us: "Little toys, fruit, stuffed animals, tractors, cars, macaroni and cheese, baby doll stuff."
Delia: "All right, that's a good list. You'll have to wait and see what you get!"

For our party we started with an egg hunt. In our eggs were puzzle pieces. We put the pieces together and found a clue on the back! The clue led us to some treasure and another clue! We found 4 clues and 4 treasures! In addition to our Goodie Bags (which we could take home) we found (to keep at daycare): photo albums one called "I Spy ABC's at Daycare" and the other "Happy Faces", tea party stuff, two stuffed animals (monkey and a bear), and some more Hot Wheels Track.

It was a lot of fun. We can't wait for next year!
